Our Summer Passport Challenge came to a close Friday night with a bonus trip to South Korea for a Korean style Pizza Party! Students also got to try some authentic Korean food: Kimbap, Dwaeji Galbi, and Mandu. For the final lesson, students learned the drop spinning hook kick from Hapkido.

Thank you to all the students who participated in the challenge and congratulations to all the students who earned enough stamps to attend last night. You all trained hard this summer and earned it. We also appreciate all the parents and grandparents for your support as well!

We had five students test in July for their next rank in Taekwondo. Maverick Martinez passed his test and was promoted to 1st Poom Junior Black Belt. We would like to thank Assistant Instructor Randall Miller, Junior Instructors Angel Miller and Jonathan Collins, and Joshua Taylor for assisting with the test.

We also had four students pass their test for Geup ranks. Makenzie Phillips received her Junior Yellow Belt, Gavin Robinson was promoted to Yellow Belt, EJ Rowse received his Junior Green Belt, and Ariel Dorsey was promoted to High Red Belt 1st Geup in Kukki Taekwondo.

Although we did not win, we are extremely grateful for all the votes and support that we received that got us all the way to the finals. There are a lot of good martial arts schools in Gaston County and being in the top 3 is a huge honor. Thank you again for all your love and support!
